Service Technician - Mechanical - DARLOT
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The Service Technician is responsible for assisting with preventative and scheduled maintenance on the site€™s production equipment. The role requires liaising with relevant Sandvik service personnel to ensure site requirements and time frames are met.
This will be achieved by:
- Rebuilds of Sandvik equipment in the workshop
- Carrying out product support, maintenance and fault diagnostic work on Sandvik Mining equipment
- Providing feedback to enable maintenance planning improvements in terms of efficiency and equipment integrity
- Carry out work within set budgets and time frames
- Flexibility to travel to perform field service requirements
- Adhering to all Sandvik Mining and Construction Policies & Procedures especially the EHS policies
YOUR PROFILE
You have a mechanical trade qualification and a minimum of 5 years post trade experience. If you have experience in hydraulics and electrical equipment this will be considered favorable.
Experience either in the mining industry or directly with Sandvik underground products is also advantageous.
Computer literacy skills is also required for the role.
A strong customer service focus and drive to achieve goals is a must as is flexibility to work within a site roster to meet customer requirements.
